Dear Writer/Artist,

thank you for dedicating your time to my fill!

I hope you have fun too making it and don’t stress out over it, I’m sure I’ll enjoy your creation very much 💛

Much like last year, these are my general likes and dislikes:

Likes: any rating, both ship and gen are alright (I’m partial to ships, but team/ensemble fics are also good), any AU (canon divergence included), even obscure ones, heaps of angst and bittersweet feels, happy endings, sad endings, hurt/comfort and hurt/no comfort, banter, characters working through complex feelings, lots of pining (mutual and whatnot) and miscommunication, fake/misinterpreted/secret relationship, identity porn, secret reveal shenanigans, curious/unusual twists on tropes, the whole enemies/friends/lovers cycle of doom, villain’s redemption, villain’s conflicted feelings towards hero(es), flawed heroes, bad/hard choices, unexpected partnerships/alliances, unresolved feelings (even non-romantic) and UST, teamwork, comedy.

Dislikes: underage, incest, non-con, scat/watersports, D/s ‘verse, significant age difference + unbalanced power relationships where one party is (or has been, at a certain point) a parental/mentoring figure to the other party, bestiality, oviposition, cute animal hybridizations (e.g. nekomimi), eating disorders, humiliation kink, daddy kink, size kink (height kink is a-ok!), tentacle erotica and alien appendages, lace clothing, crossovers, hyperfeminine/hypermasculine characters in a ship (be it in m/m, f/f or m/f couples), stereotypical seme/uke and top/bottom dynamics.

Last but not least, a note on fandoms deriving from danmei novels (in this case Guardian and The Untamed/MDZS): feel free to mix novel and drama story elements as you wish, but please please please refrain from depicting couples in stereotypical seme/uke or top/bottom dynamics.
